Requesting Check Out Technology
Overview
The Service Desk has a number of laptops (both Mac and PC), adapters, and other technology available for faculty and staff to borrow for professional use. This is intended to help tide over faculty and staff in case of emergency so that they can still conduct classes or presentations without incident.
Who can check out technology?
This technology is available to any Asbury faculty or staff members, including adjunct and part-time employees.
What technology is available?

How do I check out technology?
If you know that you're going to need a specific computer or adapter in advance, you can submit a checkout request using our service catalog. This way, the technology can be resolved for you and prepared for pickup. Otherwise, walk-in checkouts are available as stock allows. To pick up a piece of checkout technology, visit KL 131 in the basement of Kinlaw Library and a student staff member will check it out to you.
How long can I check out technology?
All technology checked out to faculty and staff members is on loan for 24 hours. Longer checkouts are available when prior approval is given by the Service Desk.
