Overview
This document will walk through how to share OneDrive files from your office apps, share files from within OneDrive and copy links to share and collaborate with others.

Instructions
Share OneDrive Files from Office 365 Apps
To share a file from within Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or another Office app:
1. Select Share on the ribbon. Or, select File > Share
a. Note: If your file is not already saved to OneDrive, you'll be prompted to upload your file to OneDrive to share it.
2. Select whether you'd like to share the file with Anyone in Asbury University with the link, specific people, or only with those who already have access to the file.
a. Note: Due to institutional policy, the "Anyone with the Link" option is unavailable for Asbury accounts to ensure student privacy and security.
3. Next, enter the email address of the people you'd like to share the file with.
a. Alternatively, you can also click "Copy Link" to save the file's link to your clipboard if you'd like to share the link in a document or another application.
4. Add a message (optional) and select Send.
Share Files from OneDrive Online

Right click the file and select Share.
Or, select a file and select
Share on the toolbar.

Select who you want to share with from the drop-down, or enter a name or email address.
Add a message (optional) and select Send.
Copy a Link
Select a file and select Copy link.
Or, right click a file and select Copy link.
